Our Story
We are Claudia and Silvia, dear friends for over 25 years.
Our story began at a local childcare center, where what started as a parent–teacher relationship quickly grew into a lifelong friendship, one rooted in family values and faith that have kept us close through every stage of life.
Over ten years ago, our daughters made a heartfelt request before heading off to college, far from Florida. They each wanted a quilt made with personal items from home , something that would keep them warm and remind them of family.
That simple wish brought us back in touch with an old friend, Elenora, a master quilter. To our surprise, instead of making the quilts for us, she offered to teach us. Together, we embarked on our first quilting projects. Using their old T-shirts from elementary through high school, pieces from extracurricular activities, and other personal keepsakes from their childhood, we created those quilts with love. The beauty and meaning behind each piece made us fall in love with the art of quilting.
From there, we continued creating more quilts. What began as a personal project soon grew into a shared passion.
We spent over two years learning, practicing, and perfecting this beautiful craft under Elenora’s guidance. Since then, quilting has become an important part of our lives a way to express creativity, patience, and love through fabric and thread.
Now, more than ten years later, we want to share our experiences, knowledge, and joy of quilting with our community, so that others can discover the peace, creativity, and connection this art brings.
